ROOFING CERTIFICATIONS ORLANDO HOMEOWNERS CAN VERIFY.
Roofing certifications Orlando homeowners can verify are an important part of choosing a qualified roofing contractor. At Gravity Roofing, we believe homeowners deserve straightforward information about the company they're trusting with their roof. That's why we make our Florida roofing license, manufacturer credential, BBB accreditation, community recognition, and customer reputation easy to research.
Serving Orlando and communities throughout Central Florida, Gravity Roofing provides residential roof inspections, roof repairs, and roof replacements. Below, you'll find the credentials behind our company, what each designation means, and where you can independently verify it.
FLORIDA CERTIFIED ROOFING CONTRACTOR.
Gravity Roofing, LLC operates under Florida Certified Roofing Contractor license CCC1334209, associated with Taz Crumpler. The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation provides an official license verification record homeowners can check before choosing a contractor.
A Florida certified roofing contractor license is an important qualification for roofing work in Orlando and across the state. Homeowners should verify that a contractor's license is current, confirm the business information, and ask for appropriate insurance documentation before signing an agreement.
Whether you're planning a small repair or a complete residential roof replacement, hiring a properly licensed roofing contractor helps establish a clearer foundation for your project. A license does not replace evaluating the written scope of work, materials, workmanship, and warranty information.

ROOFING CERTIFICATIONS ORLANDO: OUR CREDENTIALS & RECOGNITION.
CERTAINTEED SHINGLEMASTER.
CertainTeed's official contractor directory lists Gravity Roofing as a ShingleMaster, with the credential shown since 2024. CertainTeed is an established manufacturer of roofing products, including asphalt shingles and related roofing components.
The ShingleMaster credential is associated with manufacturer training and qualification requirements. For homeowners considering a new shingle roof, this provides another way to evaluate a roofing company's familiarity with CertainTeed products and installation practices.
Manufacturer credentials should be considered together with the proposed roofing system, installation specifications, and applicable warranty terms. Learn more about our residential roof replacement services and the options available for Central Florida homes.

BBB ACCREDITED. A+ RATED.
Gravity Roofing is accredited by the Better Business Bureau and holds an A+ BBB rating. Its BBB accreditation began in June 2023. BBB accreditation and ratings provide information about a company's business practices and its record under the bureau's standards.
For homeowners comparing roofing contractors in Orlando, a BBB profile offers another independent place to review business information. The BBB rating is not the same as a Google customer-review rating, nor does it guarantee any specific project outcome.
We encourage homeowners to evaluate more than a company's advertising. Researching its business history, reading actual customer experiences, and reviewing the details of a written roofing proposal can help you make a more informed decision.

BEST OF ORLANDO ROOFING RECOGNITION.
Gravity Roofing was recognized in the Orlando Weekly Best of Orlando 2025 reader awards, earning second place in the Best Roofer category . The results were published as part of Orlando Weekly's annual community awards, which feature local businesses across many industries.
Community awards represent a different kind of recognition than a professional certification or state contractor license. They offer insight into local visibility and community support, but should not be treated as proof of technical qualifications.
We are grateful to the Orlando-area homeowners and community members who have supported Gravity Roofing. Our mission remains to deliver honest guidance, clear communication, and dependable roofing services throughout Central Florida.

HUNDREDS OF CUSTOMER EXPERIENCES.
Gravity Roofing reached the milestone of 600 Google reviews in October 2026 , with a 5.0 average rating at that milestone. These customer reviews provide firsthand experiences with roof inspections, repairs, full roof replacements, communication, workmanship, and cleanup.
Unlike a professional roofing certification, customer reviews describe experiences from the homeowner's perspective. Reading detailed reviews can help you understand how a roofing company communicates, approaches problems, and follows through during projects.
We recommend looking beyond the overall star rating. Our dedicated Gravity Roofing customer reviews page includes detailed homeowner feedback about different roofing services. The latest Google rating and review count should always be checked directly with Google.
EXPLORE CUSTOMER REVIEWS →A note about roofing credentials: State contractor licenses, manufacturer credentials, BBB accreditation, customer-review ratings, and community awards each represent different types of information. Credentials and ratings may change over time. Homeowners should check the linked official records for the latest information and review insurance, project scope, materials, and warranty terms before hiring a roofer.
MORE THAN A BADGE. KNOW WHAT TO CHECK.
Not all roofing credentials mean the same thing. A Florida contractor license establishes authorization to perform qualifying roofing work. Manufacturer credentials can reflect training and installation knowledge. Accreditation, customer reviews, and local awards provide different information about a roofing company's reputation. When comparing Orlando roofing contractors, use these signals together rather than relying on any single badge.
CHECK THE LICENSE.
Verify the roofing contractor's license number and current status through Florida's DBPR. Match the license information to the company you're hiring.
VERIFY THE CREDENTIALS.
Check manufacturer credentials using the manufacturer's own directory. Ask how the credential relates to the specific roofing system recommended for your home.
REVIEW THE WHOLE PROPOSAL.
Ask about insurance, materials, permits, installation methods, written warranties, project communication, and cleanup. Read customer experiences before making your decision.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.
Straightforward answers about roofing licenses, certifications, and contractor credentials in Orlando and Central Florida.
Is Gravity Roofing licensed in Florida?
Yes. Gravity Roofing, LLC is associated with Florida Certified Roofing Contractor license CCC1334209, held by Taz Crumpler. Florida's licensing database currently lists the license as active. Homeowners can independently verify the license through the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
What does CertainTeed ShingleMaster mean?
ShingleMaster is a CertainTeed roofing contractor credential associated with manufacturer training and qualification requirements. CertainTeed's contractor directory lists Gravity Roofing as a ShingleMaster since 2024. Homeowners should ask which products and warranty options apply to their individual project, because credentials alone do not guarantee a particular warranty or outcome.
Is Gravity Roofing BBB accredited?
Yes. Gravity Roofing is a BBB Accredited Business and holds an A+ rating on its BBB business profile. BBB accreditation and ratings reflect the bureau's own standards and assessment process. They are not equivalent to a state-issued roofing license or a customer-review star rating.
Has Gravity Roofing received any local roofing awards?
Gravity Roofing placed second in Orlando Weekly's Best Roofer category in the 2025 Best of Orlando reader awards. Community recognition is a useful reputation signal, but it is separate from professional licensing and technical manufacturer credentials.
Does a roofing license automatically mean a contractor is insured?
No. Homeowners should verify licensing and insurance separately. Before signing a roofing agreement, ask for current proof of applicable insurance coverage, confirm the scope of work in writing, and clarify who will obtain permits and perform the installation.
Why do roofing certifications matter when replacing a roof?
Certifications and manufacturer credentials can help homeowners understand a contractor's training and experience with particular roofing products. Licensing helps establish legal qualifications. Neither replaces evaluating the estimate, materials, workmanship expectations, and warranty terms.
